Controversy, Mystery, and Bob Probert

Ok. Back at it after a little delay. Cathy had her last homework during the Bears game this weekend. She got 2 gold stars and 1 silver star. She gave me "The Handy Sports Answer Book" for my birthday. So the questions may get a little harder. Now for her next assignment.

1) What is the controversy over NBA basketballs?
2) AP, Coaches, and Harris are all what? What makes them different?
3) Name 3 of the best hockey players of all time

ex) What number has been retired by every MLB team? Why?

-----------------Cathy's Answers-------------------------

1.) The controversy over the NBA basketball is that the players were not
asked about their feelings about the change and what they thought. The
basketball is going from leather to a sythetic material with a worse grip
when the ball gets wet.
2.) AP, Coaches, and Harris are all polles. AP is the Associated Press poll,
Coaches, well are coaches, and the Harris is a Poll that noone really knows
what is it, but so you know I looked it up is this is what I found in a
nutshell on their wrbsite, they poll everyone on everything, including
sports, politics and anything else you can think to have a poll about.
3.) Bob Probert played for the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks,
Wayne Gretsky "The Great One" is also known as the greatest player of all
time and played for Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, St. Louis Blues, and
the New York Rangers, Bobby Orr played for Boston Bruins and
Chicago Black Hawks, and Mario Lemieux played for Pittsburgh Penguins. Just
so you know they are all Canadians.
4.) 42, Jackie Robinson - because he was the first black man to play MLB

-----------------Grade-------------------------
Hmmmm. You get a 98. Too bad that it's out of 43,984. I do know what the harris poll is. I thought I told you durning the wedding. You must have been sloshed on pear brandy. http://www.harrisinteractive.com/news/bcspoll.asp look under "Poll Methodology & Process". For #3 i would have accepted Jeremy Roenick, Eddie Belfore, and Chris Chelios. Especially Roenick because he can make a guys head bleed in NHL 95. (Extra points next assignment if you get that movie reference)

Anyone out there can feel free to help Cathy by commenting on the post. I will grade her answers and give my response in an update to this post. Good Luck!!!
